Secret love in Vilnius

Have you ever heard that in Vilnius we have a story worthy of Shakespeare! Even 40 years before the events described in Verona, a secret love broke out in Vilnius, where in the Renaissance environment, the love of people shined above the welfare of the state.

During the excursion, we will not only go around the territory of the Lower Castle, we will get to know the places where the most famous Lithuanian lovers Žygimantas Augustas and Barbora Radvilaitė secretly met, married and experienced various stories almost 500 years ago, but you will also learn how the people of Vilnius lived at that time, what they created and prepared for the future king, to the Grand Duke Žygimantas Augustas of Lithuania, what fabrics, jewels, cosmetics he ordered and what the future queen Barbora Radvilaitė liked, you will find out what the everyday life of Vilnius and how the famous couple looked like.

At the end of the tour, you will understand how the location of Barbora Radvilaitė's monument was secretly planned during the Soviet era and you will crown her image with the most beautiful crown of the city of Vilnius.
