Vilnius city former defensive wall and gates

Did you know that in 1503 September 6 The Grand Duke of Lithuania Alexander with the privilege granted the townspeople a request for their dismissal from war, so that they could cover the city with a protective wall that protected the city for almost 300 years!

During the excursion we will walk the perimeter of the former defensive wall, and in the places of former gates and towers we will imagine what kind of buildings were standing here and remember the significance of the city. Along the way, we will develop attention by looking for fragments of the former defensive wall.
